Quantitative Reasoning Center

The Quantitative Reasoning Center (QRC) was established through a generous gift from the Colket family. The QRC focuses on supporting students in Mathematics, Economics, and all Sciences at Â鶹ÊÓƵ. We also support students seeking help with data analysis or thesis research. The professional staff and about 60-65 QRC peer tutors work annually with at least 66-67% of the student body at Â鶹ÊÓƵ. The QRC is located on the 2nd floor of Tutt library. Our academic collaborations to support learning include:

  • Drop-in tutoring during shifts at the QRC (2:00-10:00, Sun-Thurs; tutor/discipline schedule at button below),
  • Dedicated, course-specific Learning Assistants (LAs) leading labs, as well as homework study halls and exam review sessions,
  • One-on-one, individual tutoring (request at button below),
  • Assistance with data analysis for courses or theses,
  • Pre-course assessment and resources for quantitative courses,
  • Collaboration with faculty on research, and
  • Teaching quantitative courses in support of college academics (see Courses header).

** Students in Isolation/Quarantine:  To work remotely with a QRC tutor, please submit a request at the Individual Tutor button above. We will work to support you as soon as possible, either through an individual tutor, or a peer tutor on a shift in the QRC.
