Professor Martha Belschner

Martha Belschner graduated from Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ and stayed on to earn a masters. She taught at the college for fourteen years spending some of her free time as a teacher at the Colorado Springs High School. In 1932, she earned a fellowship to study briefly at the University of Indiana. Then in 1934 when the Cowles Commission was centered at Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ, Belschner worked as a Research and Statistics supervisor. Although most of her teaching duties involved the introductory courses, she was one of the first in the department to teach a range of statistics courses.
