PY197 - Principles of Neuroscience

Every action, perception, thought, and decision we make is mediated by neurons in our nervous system. This class provides a detailed understanding of the structure, function, and development of neurons, how they connect to each other, and how these connections underlie how our nervous system acts, learns, and processes information. This course serves as an introduction to neuroscience and establishes the foundation for further study of the nervous system. (Not offered 2025-26).
